Harvest Charitable Fund   

A Bridge: We promote responsible partnerships for tested and proven East African disciple-makers engaged in holistic/integrated activities in their churches and communities. We serve as a bridge between donors and recipients and do not fund such ministries ourselves.

Vision:
An African Stewardship for Dedicated Disciples in Multiplied Ministries

Mission:
To unite Christian in Great Commission/Great Commandment Ministries

Purposes:

1.
To ensure the continuity of Great Commission Discipleship (Mattew 28:18-20) in the communities so that the number of disciples continue to double every two year.
2.
To encourage disciple-makers in implementing Great Commandment initiatives (Matthew 22:37-39).
3.
To be conscientious stewards of Kingdom resources necessary to both Commission and Commandment.

Endorsement Criteria
Criteria for those we can recommend to donors, churches, individuals and others:

1.
Continueous commitment to discipleship mobilization (character formation) using the tools of the Harvest Practicum. 
2.
Genuine knowledge and response to training received at Harvest Institute (people development and community services)  
3.
An effective ministry proposal that can be adapted to donor expectations: 
a.
Written as a well-planned and organized ministry for household and community impact
b.
Genuine commitment to Christ-centered efforts of transformational stewardship
c.
Reflecting community mobilization, involvement, participation and support
d.
Ensuring organizational and financial transparency and accountability 
e.
Three-year work plans and budgets
f.
Effective steps to mobilization of local resources and sustainability
g.
Specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timed goals
 
h.
Legal documentation as a church or community-based organization

International Disaster Emergency Services - flood relief (rebuilt 70 houses), drought relief (food to 288 families)
Various Christian Churches - four years of food, health, and educational assistance to 1999 AIDs orphans
Fellowship of Associates of Medical Evangelism (FAME)- 15-room health center and one year of medicine
